My family and I moved from California to the Hawaii in 1970. One of my sisters took up residence on Oahu the rest of us moved to Kona on the Big Island. The only way to get to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel from Kona in those days was on the upper highway and down Kawaihae Rd. from Waimea. It was quite a journey! I began my real estate career along the sunny side of the Big Island in 1990 and was invited to join the Mauna Kea Realty team in 2000. My recent move to the Kohala Coast allows me to be within close proximity to the resort for appointments and consultations with prospective owners.

Prior to that Diana spent 20 years in the ski industry working at resorts in Mammoth Lakes, California; Methven, New Zealand; and Girdwood, Alaska.

She belongs to the Seaside Tennis Club at Mauna Kea Resort and plays doubles frequently. Once a month she and a friend explore the Big Island as “tourists for a day.“
