Located at the base of majestic Mauna Kea and nestled in Hapuna Golf Course on the Island of Hawai'i, Islander Sake* makes premium handcrafted sake, carefully produced in small batches using time-honored traditions and the highest quality ingredients. Flavors are delightfully elusive, and range from soft honeydew melon, delicate lemon meringue, and earthy spring rains, with notes of tropical fruits and sea breezes.
Learn about the supreme taste of sake and its art at their new restaurant called Engawa. Engawa offers Islander Sake as beverage options — by the glass, bottle or tasting flights. In Japanese culture, Engawa is considered the most comfortable space in the house, with the purpose of separating it from the outside world. Visitors are welcome to chat casually with us at Engawa, or to unwind with a cup of sake, tea or a delicious snack.
