12th Annual Big Island Jazz & Blues Festival
The annual Jazz Festival has another incredible lineup of Grammy Award Winners, Grammy Nominated Artists, Music Hall of Fame Members, and Jazz and Blues Legends - all performing oceanfront. Admission starts at 4:30 p.m.
Mother's Day Concert & Pop-up Makeke
Join us for an unforgettable Mother's Day Celebration at The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 4-9 PM. This special evening will feature a benefit concert to support Aha Pūnana Leo O Waimea and ‘Alo Kēhau o ka ʻĀina Mauna, aimed at helping establish a permanent school site for grades K-12 in Waimea.
Guests will enjoy a star-studded lineup of Hawaiian music, including performances by Lehua Kalima and Sean Pimental, Mark Yamanaka, and Darlene Ahuna, Ku‘uipo Kumukahi, and Emma Nakano. Hula performances by Hālau o Moku o Keawe and former Miss Hulas will add to the evening’s entertainment program. Hosted by Darde Gamayo from KAPA FM, this unforgettable night will also feature a Pop-up Mākeke, offering a variety of food and unique goods from local artisans and food operators.
Concert tickets are available for purchase for $75/adult or $25/keiki 6-17 years old and free admission for keiki 5 & under. Or book our special Mother’s Day Kamaaina Staycation Package with rates starting at $449/night, which includes two (2) admission tickets to the concert, self-parking, no resort fees. Kamaaina staying a minimum of 2-consecutive night's starting the Friday before the event will receive an additional daily $100 daily resort credit to use towards dining or hotel experiences for reservations.
Guests booking Kamaaina Staycation Package rate must present a valid Hawaii State ID or HI State Drivers License with a Hawaii address upon check-in. Enjoy delicious local food, shop from the Pop-Up Mākeke vendors, and relax with a cash bar available for guests 18 and older.
